EQUAL TREATMENT ACCESS

1 in 100 Australians have hep C.

630 Australians died last year as a result of hep C, and that number will keep growing until these new treatments are made available.

New hep C treatments finally offer a better chance of cure – they can cure 90-95% of people after just 12 weeks.

Over 230,000 Australians living with hep C can’t get access to the first of these new drugs, sofosbuvir, because the Australian Government hasn’t listed it on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).

Every day sofosbuvir and other drugs are not accessible we risk another Australian developing cirrhosis or liver cancer or needing a liver transplant. Sign the EQUAL TREATMENT ACCESS (ETA) petition now.
