Share a needle, share hepatitis C
Hepatitis C is a serious virus passed on by 'blood-to-blood' contact - usually through sharing a needle. Lots of Australians have hepatitis C - but many don't know it. So, if you've been sharing needles or anything used for injecting drugs, please call the hepatitis C Helpline on 9332 1599 (Sydney) or 1800 803 990 (regional NSW). Ask the operator to call the Telephone Interpreter Service (TIS) on 131 450 if you need assistance.
We can give you more information and it's confidential.
