This two minute video introduces you to a series of video chapters that are designed to help you decide if you would like treatment for hep C. Developed by a team of hep C healthcare workers in Sydney South West Area Health Service.

The need for Needle and Syringe Programs in prisons (ABC TV video link)

The Australian Drugs Conference in Melbourne called for a trial of needle and syringe programs in Australian prisons. More than 350 of Australia's drug and alcohol treatment experts voted and only one delegate opposed the motion. One in three Australian inmates has hepatitis C and it's thought that a needle and syringe program could reduce the incidence of blood-borne viruses in gaol. Steve Cannane reports.

 

The Big Combo

Our Big Combo video tells the story of two people's hep C treatment journey. It's an engaging docu-drama which personalises the process of considering hep C combination treatment. Matthew and Lily's stories are interwoven with interviews featuring Melissa Bagatella (HCV CNC), Prof Geoffrey Farrell and Prof Greg Dore, hep C clinicians who provide additional insight into making good health choices.
