PBAC Update – Wednesday 3 February 2016

Hepatitis NSW has now been advised that the application for the new hepatitis C drugs grazoprevir and elbasvir to be considered by the PBAC in March 2016 has been withdrawn.

We hope that these drugs, and other new treatments for hepatitis C, will be submitted for PBAC consideration later in 2016 to continue to improve treatment options for all people living with hepatitis C. As always, we will provide updates on any major developments, and advise on ways for community members and organisations to get involved.

And our apologies to those people who may have already started (or even finished) their submissions on these drugs for this PBAC meeting – we hope that this work is able to be reused for subsequent meetings.
