Help work towards a world free of viral hepatitis!
Volunteering at Hepatitis NSW is flexible and can be as little or as much as you like.
You’ll join a team of over 150 people who give their time working with Hepatitis NSW towards a world free of viral hepatitis.
You can choose what kind of volunteering you’d like to do.
Join the mail-out team, the database team, the membership and donations team or sign up for some of the once-off volunteering opportunities we have, like helping out at NSW Hepatitis Awareness Week events.
Volunteer five hours of your time and you also receive a one year free membership to Hepatitis NSW.
As a special thank you to our volunteers Hepatitis NSW invites any one who volunteers with us each year to a thank you event.
There are so many ways you can volunteer for us
See an outline below of some of the ways you can choose to help us out:
Admin / mailing / data entry / phone work
Includes sticking on labels and stuffing envelopes, computer work, helping with membership, phoning to check people’s address details, etc.
Meet every four months to discuss the content of each edition of our Tx! Mag magazine.
Board of Governance Member
Help determine the direction and overseeing operation of the organisation. Broadly, board members are responsible for ensuring Hepatitis NSW does what it is supposed to be doing, has enough money and people to do it, and that it does it well.
C me Community Mobilisation Volunteers
Use your lived experience of hepatitis to advocate for yourself and other people affected by hepatitis in your community. Get involved in Hepatitis NSW advocacy campaigning. Training and other support is provided.
