Be our next Program Manager driving strategic, people focused programs and innovation

Hepatitis NSW is recruiting an experienced Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of the organisation’s leadership, the Program Manager will manage a diverse team and set of programs and services that support our vision of a world free of viral hepatitis.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the role leads a multidisciplinary team and works closely with stakeholders across government, health services, community partners, researchers, and alongside people with lived and living experience of viral hepatitis.

The Program Manager will guide planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement across the program areas, ensuring excellence, inclusiveness, and strong community engagement. You will also lead, manage, supervise, and mentor the program team to ensure the achievement of individual program objectives and deliverables.

This role is central to delivering evidence-based initiatives and identifying emerging opportunities in hepatitis B and C prevention, treatment and support. The position also contributes to organisational strategy, budget management, reporting, compliance, governance, and policy development as part of the management team.

With a 35-hour work week, hybrid work arrangements, and a commitment to equity and diversity, Hepatitis NSW offers a supportive and purpose-driven environment. We welcome applicants with strong leadership experience in health, education, or social services who are passionate about making a meaningful impact across NSW communities.

Applications close: 12pm Monday 23 March 2026.

Working as part of the team, the Coordinator will deliver practical, person‑centred initiatives that support the state’s goal to eliminate viral hepatitis. Through collaboration, training, community engagement, and data‑informed practice, HepLink NSW ensures individuals and services receive seamless support.
