Liver Outreach Team, Storr Liver Centre, Westmead Hospital were the 2024 Cheryl Burman Award recipients. The Award recognised a passionate, committed team doing all they can and more to eliminate viral hepatitis by 2030. As the nomination states, it is a rare achievement to get four (4) hepatology nurses attending one outreach event for the community. This epitomises the level of commitment, resourcefulness and determination this team has to serve their community and to provide the highest quality health care no matter what the location.
