Hepatitis NSW are hosting a hepatitis C training session Thursday July 30th at 2pm. 

The session will be delivered via Zoom and commence promptly at 2pm running to 3:30pm.

During the COVID-19 pandemic period the state-wide training offers an excellent opportunity for you meet and see some of the incredible people working in this sector across NSW.

You will hear from Hepatitis NSW expert educators and peer workers who will bust myths, break down fake news and get the real story about hepatitis C this Hepatitis Awareness Week.

This session is appropriate for LHD staff, people working in Alcohol and Other Drugs, Community Health and Mental Health.

  • The difference between old interferon and new Direct-Acting Antiviral treatments
  • Identifying and removing barriers to healthcare
  • How to link your clients to a local GP treating hep C
  • Where to get diverse resources for free
  • Hear from someone with lived experience of hep C and the new treatments
